Job Overview:
We are looking for a Customer Technical Advisor to provide expert guidance and support to clients using our GPS tracking and fleet management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to assist customers with troubleshooting, installations, and system configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on GPS tracking systems, software, and related services.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to GPS devices, fleet management platforms, and mobile applications.
- Assist customers in device installation, configuration, and calibration.
- Conduct remote diagnostics and guide users through problem resolution.
- Educate customers on best practices for using GPS tracking solutions effectively.
- Coordinate with the technical team for escalations and complex troubleshooting.
- Maintain customer records, issue logs, and resolutions in CRM or support systems.
- Provide product training and demonstrations for clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with sales, support, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical background in GPS tracking, IoT, telematics, or a related field.
- Experience in customer support, troubleshooting, and technical advisory roles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of GPS devices, fleet tracking software, and mobile applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client issues effectively.
- Basic understanding of networking, SIM configurations, and software installations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and ticketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in GPS tracking, fleet management, or telematics industry.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, CAN bus, and IoT integrations.
- Familiarity with mapping tools like Google Maps, GIS, or routing software.
